The Wild Hometown Toolkit

Start your own collaborative, local organization

In collaboration with the Academics for Land Protection in New England (ALPINE), the Wild Hometown Movement has designed a toolkit to help you start your own place-based, youth-powered environmental group where you live. Bringing together perspectives from leaders in environmental education, inclusivity in the outdoors, and youth empowerment, the Wild Hometown Toolkit can help you build a collaborative environmental organization that empowers young people to love the place they live.
Young people today feel disconnected from the places and communities where we live, and we want to help you change that.
