Working together across landscapes

The Wild Hometown Movement is focused on supporting young people to protect nature where they live. This locally-oriented goal is crucial for building more just and supportive communities, where all people and animals can thrive.

But for young people working on local initiatives, we can sometimes feel isolated from larger movements building solidarity amongst people from across the globe. That's why we are organizing efforts to bring young people together towards shared goals that emphasize the importance of local environmental protection and community engagement. 

We can only protect what we know and love, and we are only as strong as the communities around us. By building hometowns that are life nurturing and
